Why can't I upload .gif or .webm files?

RedGIFs no longer supports .gif or .webm uploads.

To keep video quality high and playback smooth, we now support only modern video formats, including:

• .mp4
• .mov
• other standard video file types

If your content is in .gif or .webm format, you’ll need to convert it to .mp4 before uploading.

Using .mp4 helps your videos look their best and play smoothly for you and your audience.
