Why don’t I have a username on my watermark?

If you’re not seeing a username on your Reddit embed watermark, here’s why:

You may be viewing it on a desktop

On Reddit desktop, the watermark shows the RedGIFs logo only. Your RedGIFs display name appears inside the player instead, and not under the logo.

It may be an older embed

Older Reddit embeds/uploads do not include a username in the watermark. Only newer embeds include the updated watermark format.
