Acceptable Use Policy Follow

This acceptable use policy (“AUP”) applies to all users of RedGIFs.com (“RedGIFs,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) and supplements our Terms of Service. By using RedGIFs, you agree to comply with this AUP.

We aim to provide a safe, lawful, and respectful environment for sharing and viewing content. Any violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of your account, removal of content, or referral to law enforcement authorities.

Prohibited Content

You must not upload, share, post, or otherwise make available any content that:

1. Illegal Content: Violates any applicable law or regulation, including content relating to child sexual abuse material (CSAM), human trafficking, terrorism, money laundering, or other unlawful activity.
2. Non-Consensual Content: Depicts or purports to depict individuals without their valid, informed, and documented consent, including image-based sexual abuse (“revenge porn”), voyeuristic or hidden-camera material, surreptitious recordings, or doxxing.
3. Manipulated or Synthetic Media: Uses deepfakes, AI-generated, or otherwise altered media that depicts any identifiable individual without that person’s prior knowledge and documented consent, or misrepresents real events in a harmful or misleading manner.
4. Underage Content: Depicts or appears to depict minors (under 18 years old), including simulated content, cartoons, animations, “age play,” or other material suggesting or promoting sexual activity involving minors.
5. Exploitation and Abuse: Promotes, glorifies, or depicts sexual assault, coercion, exploitation of vulnerable persons, bestiality, incest, or any sexual activity involving individuals unable to give informed consent.
6. Hate and Violence: Contains hate speech, threats, targeted harassment, incitement or promotion of violence, extremist or terrorist propaganda, or glorification of self-harm or suicide.
7. Extreme Violence and Gore: Depicts or glorifies gratuitous gore, mutilation, torture, or excessively graphic violence, even where such content may otherwise be lawful.
8. Animal Cruelty: Depicts, promotes, or glorifies cruelty, torture, or killing of animals, whether sexual or non-sexual in nature.
9. Copyright and IP Violations: Infringes on intellectual property, publicity, or moral rights, including unauthorized use of copyrighted works, trademarks, likenesses, or performances.
10. Fraud, Spam, and Malicious Activity: Contains fraudulent schemes, spam, scams, phishing, malware, or deceptive links designed to mislead, defraud, or harm users or disrupt RedGIFs’ services.
11. Other Prohibited Content: Otherwise violates this AUP or the Terms of Service, applicable law, or undermines user safety, trust, or the proper functioning of RedGIFs.

Prohibited Conduct

You must not use RedGIFs to:

1. Harass or Abuse: Harass, stalk, bully, threaten, or intimidate any individual or group, including through targeted abuse, coordinated harassment, or doxxing (disclosing private information without consent).
2. Impersonation and Misrepresentation: Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your identity, affiliation, or relationship with RedGIFs.
3. Security Interference: Interfere with or disrupt the security, integrity, or performance of RedGIFs, including attempting to disable, overload, or impair the platform.
4. Unauthorized Access: Circumvent technical measures, access accounts without authorization, probe or scan systems, or otherwise attempt to gain unauthorized access to RedGIFs’ systems, accounts, or data.
5. Unauthorized Commercial Use: Use RedGIFs for unauthorized commercial purposes, including advertising, promotion, or operation of third-party services (such as affiliate programs, traffic schemes, or external platforms) without RedGIFs’ prior written authorization.
6. Manipulation and Gaming: Engage in activity intended to artificially manipulate view counts, rankings, recommendations, or other platform metrics, including through bots, click farms, automated scripts, or similar tools.
7. Fraud and Deceptive Practices: Engage in fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive conduct, including schemes to defraud users or RedGIFs, payment fraud, or misrepresentation of services or products.
8. Prostitution and Trafficking: Use RedGIFs to promote, facilitate, or engage in prostitution, escorting, “sugar dating,” sex trafficking, or any other form of sexual exploitation.
9. Other Harmful Conduct: Engage in any conduct that violates this AUP, applicable law, or otherwise undermines user safety, trust, or the proper functioning of RedGIFs.

Age and Verification

1. You must be at least 18 years old to access or use RedGIFs.
2. Uploaders must comply with RedGIFs’ Age Verification Policy and maintain valid, verifiable documentation confirming that every individual depicted in their content is 18 years of age or older at the time of production.
3. Uploaders must be able to provide that documentation promptly upon RedGIFs’ request.

Reporting Violations

Users may report suspected violations of this AUP through our in-platform reporting tools or by contacting us at support@redgifs.com. Reports will be reviewed promptly and in accordance with our Complaints Policy. To be processed, reports should include sufficient detail to identify the content and describe the issue. Reports submitted through our reporting tools will be assessed under our notice-and-action procedure, which includes acknowledgment of receipt, timely decision-making, and communication of reasons for any action taken.

Cooperation with Authorities

We will cooperate with law enforcement and other competent authorities as required by law and, where reasonably necessary, to protect individuals, public safety, or the integrity of our services. This may include preserving, disclosing, or otherwise making available information relevant to investigations of suspected unlawful activity or threats to safety, in accordance with applicable law. For allegations of illegal content, we act expeditiously to remove or disable access where substantiated.

Enforcement

1. We may take enforcement action against content or accounts that violate this AUP or applicable law.
2. Enforcement actions will be proportionate to the violation and may include warnings, removal of content, temporary restrictions, suspension of content or accounts, or termination.
3. We may also refer matters to law enforcement or other competent authorities, where legally required or reasonably appropriate.
4. Affected users will be notified of enforcement actions, together with the reasons for our decision, subject to legal or security restrictions.
5. Users may appeal enforcement measures in accordance with our Appeals Policy.

EU/EEA Users – Digital Services Act (DSA) Notice

If you are located in the EU/EEA:

• You may submit complaints free of charge under our Complaints Policy.
• You may appeal moderation decisions under our Appeals Policy.
• You may escalate unresolved disputes to a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body or seek judicial redress.
• Users may designate a trusted flagger in accordance with the DSA to submit notices on your behalf, which we will prioritize as required by law.

UK Users – Online Safety Act Notice

If you are located in the United Kingdom:

• You may bring breach of contract claims if RedGIFs fails to comply with its Terms of Service or this AUP.
• Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

RedGIFs takes proportionate measures to reduce the risk of illegal content and to protect users from harmful content, as required under the Online Safety Act.

Changes to This AUP

We may update this AUP from time to time. Any changes will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of RedGIFs after the updated AUP takes effect constitutes acceptance of the changes unless otherwise required by law.
